6 JM PTLs for Laird Syncrude MLX, Start Date, ASAP
2 4th Yrs
- Class 3 licence is preferred
Midlite 3 JM PLTs for NWT Remote Work.
- Class 3 Licence minimum. 25KV Hotline Experience Required.
A&D Test will be required within 72 hrs of receiving dispatch
Minimum Training requirements BEFORE showing up to site.
- Must have valid Harness/Fall Protection training from Energy Safety Canada or Equivalent from Local 1928 Jurisdiction (“Working at Heights” from Ontario is acceptable)
- CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) – Free online – (2-3 hrs) See link
- BSO/CSO (Basic/Commmon Safety Orientation) – (3-4 hrs) (Not required for Midlite NWT Calls) This is reimbursable from LU 424 after taking dispatch from them. See Link.
For members taking the call, and intro letter with IBEW card #, Trade cert level, address, email, phone #, SIN (remittances require this), and DOB are needed. Also confirmation of current paid dues dues (most locals require out going travelling members to pay 3 months non working in their own hall).
